LEGAL
Terms.

The basics
These terms apply when you create an account, add a dog, or book an adventure with PawTrips, a dog-adventure service based at Cuerden Valley Bark Park in Lancashire and serving Chorley & South Ribble, Bolton & Horwich, Blackpool & Fylde Coast, Preston & Longridge and Blackburn & Darwen. By booking, you agree to them. If anything here doesn't sit right, email us before you book — we'd rather sort it out than have you find out on the day.
PawTrips is a trading name of The Bark Bus Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17108002). Registered office: Citygate, Longridge Road, Preston, PR2 5BQ.
Who you're booking with
Your adventure is provided by the PawTrips operator for your area, and your booking contract is with them.

Booking and payment
Adventures are priced per dog, shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking, by card or from your membership's ride credits. A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email with your reference.
Your dog
Every dog must have an approved profile before their first adventure: a photo and current DHPPi vaccination dates (rabies only if they've travelled). You confirm the dates you give us are accurate, and keeping vaccinations up to date throughout is your ongoing responsibility. We check expiry before every adventure — an expired vaccination means we can't collect your dog that day.
Kennel cough vaccination is not required. Instead, each booking includes a health declaration you make for that trip: that your dog has not stayed in boarding kennels in the 2 weeks before the adventure and is showing no signs of illness, and that you'll tell us if that changes before the trip. A dog showing symptoms on the day can't ride — we'll rebook them free.
Groups are capped at six dogs to one walker. If your dog is reactive, in season, unwell, or otherwise not a fit for a group adventure that day, we may decline or postpone the booking — we'll always tell you why, and we'll refund or reschedule.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel from your dashboard more than 24 hours before an adventure for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, you'll get 50% back — by that point we've planned the route around your dog. No-shows aren't refunded. If we cancel — weather, a vehicle issue, anything on our side — a ride credit for the full amount goes onto your account straight away, so you can pick another day. Prefer your money back? Reply to the cancellation email and we'll refund you in full instead. Your choice, either way.
Membership
A membership bills on the cycle you choose (weekly to every four weeks) and grants ride credits at the start of each cycle. Unused credits last a month from the day they are issued (longer on a four-weekly plan, which keeps its cycle plus a week). You can cancel a membership at any time from your account; it runs until the end of the paid cycle. Membership ride credits can be used on adventures in your home area (the area your membership is priced for) and on adventures in other areas that cost no more than your home area's standard one-off price when your membership started. That price stays fixed for your membership; if you move and we change your home area, we use the new area's price at that point. Birthday, referral and voucher ride credits can be used in any area. You can't book special events with ride credits of any kind.
Referrals: give £5, get £5
Your account page has a referral link to share. When someone new creates a PawTrips account through your link, they get £5 off their dog's first adventure. Once that first adventure has taken place, you get £5 off a future adventure.
Your friend's £5is for new customers only. It comes off automatically at checkout on their first booking, if that's a regular adventure (not a special event), and lasts 30 days from when they sign up. It doesn't apply if they already had an account or a booking with us before using your link, if you refer yourself, or if they sign up with a disposable email address.
Your £5is added to your account after your friend's first adventure has taken place. It lasts 60 days, can be used once, in any of our areas, on a regular adventure you pay for. It can't be used on special events. It's locked to your account: nobody else can use it, it can't be transferred and it has no cash value.
Only one voucher or offer code can be used on each booking, so referral rewards can't be combined with each other or with another offer. If you have more than one, checkout uses the one that saves you most.
If your friend's first booking is cancelled before it takes place, no reward is due. If it's cancelled or refunded afterwards, we'll withdraw your £5 if you haven't used it yet.
Until 10 October 2026 the scheme was “Give £5, ride free”. Free rides earned under it can still be used until their expiry date. A friend who signed up through your link before 10 October 2026 still earns you a free ride, not £5, when their first adventure takes place. A free ride covers one dog on a regular adventure and lasts 60 days.
Referrals are for sharing with people you know. We can refuse or withdraw a reward that comes from misuse, such as made-up or duplicate accounts.
We can change or end the referral scheme. We'll give at least 14 days' notice on this page first, and rewards already earned will be honoured under the rules that applied when they were earned.
Collection and drop-off
We collect from and return to the pickup address on your booking. We'll email you your pickup time once the route is planned, usually the evening before the adventure, and we'll email you again if it changes. If you book within 2 hours of the start, the office will confirm your pickup time with you. Please keep your phone with you on the day in case the crew need to call you.
Liability
We're insured and our team is qualified to at least Level 3 in canine care, custody and control, plus canine first aid. We take reasonable care of every dog in our charge. We're not liable for pre-existing conditions, injuries a dog causes to itself through its own behaviour, or events genuinely outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — the date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version. Continuing to use PawTrips after a change means you accept it.
